Elected as 6th president of the republic, he quickly became controversial for his frequent opinionated statements and extreme government actions, leading to the fracturing of COUR and the second civil war. Following the civil war he escaped punishment by running to the east ocean, where he began amassing men and weapons in anticipation of an eventual takeover of Utlia.
