The Akaria-Utlia alliance is the oldest alliance between two independent nations of the Attu Archipelago. It was established by the Treaty of Peripha in 2 PC, between the Kingdom of Akaria and the Republic of Utlia.
Today, Akaria and Utlia are both part of the Eastern Bloc, a larger intergovernmental military alliance between several Eastern Attu states.
History
During early 2 PC, it became known to the Attu Archipelago that the large Nation of Niueyjarwas in the midst of a civil war. It was understood by Harakar Oken, Living King of Akaria that the presumed leader of Niueyjar Vidar Astridson was one of the more tolerant members of his society and whoever replaced him could be worse. On 5-4 2 PC, the Akaria-Utlian alliance was founded as a measure, in case Vidar lost his civil war and his successor attempted conquest. At the same time that the alliance was founded, a plot of land on Utlia was reserved for the Akuta military base.
