The Empire of Faltir, commonly referred to as the Third Empire or simply Faltir, is a country in the Attu Archipelago. Faltir is centrally located, lying to the west of Akaria and Tietero, northwest of Eee, north of Utlia and Caesia, northeast of Niueyjar, and east of Nongba. With an area of 18,959 square kilometers, Faltir is the second largest country after the Confederated Nation of Niueyjar. Faltir has a population of 3.74 million.
History
The 3rd Empire of Faltir popped into existance in 20 PC following the Great Exile. On 15-5 21 PC, the Kingdom of Akaria and Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CNN) signed an agreement in which the CNN "granted" Akaria the right to unrestricted trade of "concepts and non-military goods" with the 3rd Empire of Faltir, the Glanes Confederation, Melor, the Naval Administration and Striltir and unrestricted trade of "concepts and goods" with the Mirest League. In exchange the Kingdom of Akaria agreed to continue recognising Niueyjara sovereignty over Faltir and to do business with the prior mentioned Faltiran polities as though they were Niueyjara states. News of the treaty between the CNN and Akaria sparked outrage across Faltir as it was interpreted as treading on Faltiran sovereignty. 12-6 Several Faltiran faction leaders, who were previously openly hostile to one another, including those of the 3rd Empire, met behind closed doors in response to the treaty. A second meeting was hosted by the 3rd Empire in Krasi, allegedly delegates from all factions excluding the SLK were in attendance. This coincided with reports of Nes and Holy Republic forces fighting alongside Melor forces against the Melotir and Imperial forces and FPF troops launching an offensive against the SLK.
