The Wall Upon Which The Word Was Written is a monument and Modhes religious shrine in Oôel Ghegg, representing the end of the Modhesian Conquests, and the founding of Deysachin.
Description
The Wall stands 8 meters tall, 30 meters across, and is composed of stone. Carved into the thick rock, as though hand-written, is the word "Deysachin" in Standard Deysachni.
History
Background
Between the Deysachni years 23 and 42, there was no official name for the Modhesian state. The prior name of Mn'kra-Bel was no longer usable, due to the Mn'krapanti faith being replaced with the Modhes, but no new name had been chosen. Scholars within the state considered many possibilities, such as Modhes-Bel, Modhesa, Modhestn'a, Deyagmcsl'csa, Deymcsl'csa'ag, Deymcsagl'csa, and some who considered that it may remain wholey unnamed. As the conquests were coming to a close, this debate was taking on new dimentions, as there was increasing disagreement over the shape of the Modhes state to come.
