History
Unlaunen was the capital and start of the Frish Kingdom, which was the city-state the kingdom was born from.
After the return of Vyren Kiyrn in 1798 TT the Frish king at the time, Lewyen Rentt established the Azz'marin in Unlaunen as a way to centralize the newly discovered religion. The first shrine was built near Kiyrns home in what is now the Kiyrn District .
A flash flood struck Unlaunen-Ut on 1-9 2 PC killing 20 people and displacing many more.
An intensity IX earthquake hit Unlaunen-Ut on 15-1 8 PC.
Government
Unlaunen-Ut, like every other Utlian city is ruled by a Sumaasyl. The presiding speaker of the Unlaunen Sumaasyl is Letsek Hens.
Geography
Unlaunen is located next to the thin Ueb river, a flat plateau between the Forest of Wynlid and the great lake of Azznin
Districts
- Kelna: Old district with historic buildings and the oldest churches on the mainland (central)
- Merespem: A mix of working class and middle class, historic buildings in the south and much urban renewal in the north (central, northeast)
- Huwest: Industrial district with Utlias largest steel and uranium refineries, as well as the biggest producer of military goods on the mainland
- Awelet: shopping district made up of almost entirely new build, contemporary styled buildings.
