All travel between CNN-controlled territories and Nongba began being blocked through the channel between Faltir and Niueyjar as well as in a line going north off of the northern coast of Faltir and in a line going west off the western coast of the CNN began being patrolled, with all ships bound for Nongba being detained until sanctions were lifted. The YDF broke all trade deals with the CNN. YDF ambassadors in Niueyjar were recalled and the CNN embassy in Yotum was barricaded, leaving the CNN representatives in the middle of a YDF hostage situation.
