Biography
Early life
Aran Banokan was born on 16-8 1262 TT in Banosken, Akarinian Confederation. Aran was a member of the Banokan and his father Bort would eventually become the Leader of the Banokan.
The Akarian Navy was established by Matart's 57th Dictate on 7-7 1198 TT and Aran was selected as the navy's first High Director. Aran served out of a small office in Saeskar and his only duty was to approve designs submitted by his subordinates. His time as high director ended on 14-6 1194 TT when he became the Leader of the Banokan.
Living King
Aran Banokan was elected Living King on 25-8 1182 TT following the death of Living King Matart Kakay. He was the first Living King elected in this fashion. During the election, the ossbosches, who were brought to Ablesken for it were not provided with accommodation and debated Matart's successor in the centre of Wayok Park. It is recorded that the weeks following Matart's death were some of the rainiest seen in decades. Aran's 1st Dictate issued on 23-9 1182 TT attempted to fix these issues by ordering the construction of the Saymok's Hall at the centre of Wayok Park. The building was designed to serve as both a residence and debating chamber for the ossbosches whilst they elected the Living King.
Aran Banokan died on 11-7 1172 TT.
