Biography
Early Life
Chuckster was born 1-1 25 PC at a ranch in Nucht owned by one Cnuorl Sifmahns, and was sired from a stud named A Horse Named Flengadoo and a broodmare named Maclangamuffin. Chuckster raced from a young age, though never acheived high marks. In his racing days, Lagrange was considered average, and it has been said by some that Cnuorl considered selling him off for cheap.
Divine Blessing
In a rare showing, Modhes Ywl attended the Year 463 Nucht Derby. He initially refused throughout his day there to answer any questions of who will win, saying only that He hoped to enjoy the race. Moments before the race began however, He was seen to point from his seat over to Chuckster, and said something. Accounts vary as to what was said that day, but the general consensus is that it was something akin to "...That one... He is the one...". Chuckster underperformed in the first two laps, but was seen to glow radiantly at the start of the third, and pulled ahead. Though he finished in 5th place, He continued around the track unprompted, accelerating to superequine speeds, before blasting through a wall of the stadium en route to Nucht Temple. Upon bursting through the door of the temple bathed in florescence, it is said that he came to a full stop before High Priest Shalgathadd, who fell to his knees and cried in laughter untillll he died. Shalgathadd's last words swore Chuckster in as an official Priest.
Priesthood
Lagrange proved immensely popular as a priest. He is seen by many to have a deeply wise and scholarly understanding of holy literature, with his analysis of The Books Of The Dark being the subject of particular acclaim, and his speech at the Year 464 Nucht Derby, which consisted of 32 hoof taps and 4 whinnies, drew a ten minute standing ovation. He was promoted to Elder in fast time, and it was a running joke in Uebhaie that he would be in high office before the year was out. This was not however very seriously considered.
On 30-12 39 PC, High Priest Mancriarr Dinddhiaelgh departed from Nucht to meet privately with Modhes Ywl, and left a note ending with the humourous statement that "in the event that Lord Ywl sees fit to strike me down, that horse oughta replace me!". Dinddhiaelgh would serve as the primary sacrifice in the ritual to bring about The Long Day. As his note was considered prophetic, Modhes Temple followed through with Mancriarr's wish, and Chuckster Lagrange was sworn in as a High Priest during The Long Day.
As High Priest, Lagrange is known for his hard conservitive stances, with over 300 recorded "Nay" votes. He is a divisive figure, with some, such as Thuybnor Dagnon, seeing his very appointment as "nothing more than a series of poor jokes". Others however see him as a bright mind and a leading figure. Modhes Pkraone once refered to him as being "more clever than most men I've met."
Trivia
Even thought there is no mention of horses in its rulebook, Chuckster would probably not be able to play Rockball.
