History

Pre-Yotumic War

Hongtongula was founded around 2728 TT.

The village of Hongtongula had little with the Yotumic Confederation of Hangmeng (YCH) during its rise. In 1396 TT Hongtongula's population was recorded at 6,500. At the time the village was run by a totalitarian family known as the Pangin. This family was well supported by the people of the village and vowed to remove any Hangist influences from Holtongula. However, by this point, they had run out of land that could be farmed for their signature strain of polbi. The Pangin decided to open negotiations with the YCH but quickly ended them due to the the risk of Hangism spreading to Hongtongula.

1st Yotumic War

In 1393 TT the village of Oltuhan, which had a mojority non-Hangist population, split off from the YCH. Whilst the YCH was debating what to do about this, the Pangin and the Kul family of Oltuhan agreed to established a trade route and an alliance. When the YCH found out they declared war on both villages starting the 1st Yotumic War.

Despite initial victories the Pangin-Kul aliance lost to the YCH with Hongtongula being handed over in 1392 TT.

Post-Calming

Hongtongula was the sight of a meeting between leader of Yotumic Divisionary Federation Yun Yan'il and Emperor Spyron on 10-3 9 PC.
