Mjulu Arsmed (also known as the Give Peace A Chance Guy) was a Deysachni guy known for his involvement in the Prefichi-Federation War. He was sent to Jifancaya by Modhes Temple in 52 PC as part of an effort to support peace and put an end to the conflict. He stood on Federal Road GNU3 between Jifanci and Wefiche, holding a banner with the phrase "Give Peace A Chance". In 79 PC, Mjulu was shot by Prefichian forces in a surprise attack.
Early Life
Mjulu Arsmed was born to Wy'heng Arsmed and Chengofrith Kujiposk on 3-1 24 PC in the town of Rig Uundahl, a then-rural settlement on the foothills of The Rock. His family owned a small farm, on which he worked until he left home in his late teens in search of a more ambitious career path.
By 51 PC, Arsmed was a drifter working odd jobs across the greater Ywl area, and eventually decided to apply for a number of more consistant positions in Modhes Temple, with hope of achieving a stable salery. He was rejected from every position he applied to, but one one such occasion, the clerk had forgotten to inform Arsmed of his rejection, and, having nothing better to do, he continued standing in lobby for hours on end. As the office was closing for the day, someone noticed Mjulu continuing to stand in almost exactly the same position he had arrived in that morning, and informed their superiors of it. Mjulu was taken in for further tests, and it was concluded that he had an extreme skill for loitering. A Guru of sociology was later quoted as saying that "no man alive has ever demonstrated such talent for standing around and doing nothing in particular". Arsmed was hired and given a modest salery as well as perminant lodgings and free meals, although it would be several months until a use for his abilities was found.
"Give Peace A Chance" banner
In 52 PC, as the Prefichi-Federation War began, Modhes Temple sent Mjulu Arsmed to carry a banner with the phrase "Give Peace A Chance", and wave it near the area of conflict. The banner was large and circular, with "Give Peace A Chance" written in both Deysachni and Caseic.
In 62 PC, as Modhes Militaria forces began pushing back the Prefichian advance, Mjulu flipped his banner to reveal the other side, which had the phrase "Nevermind, Let's Have A WAR!". Following this, he departed from the area.
