Although the number of active service members is planned to expand by 25% over the next three years, the far greater news come in the subsidizing of the Family-owned weapon and vessel manufacturing companies, which plan to increase capacity in order to allow for regular sale to other, larger members of the HoL pact. In order to avoid running a sharp deficit this year, the Dux has allocated the argottos from other programs, notably administration services in previously established welfare programs.
• During a hunting trip to celebrate the new year, president Ire Liamia is is injured after losing footing on a short but sheer drop, he was quickly rushed to the hospital where his condition is being monitored, no foul play is suspected
• Dux Barozzo shares his condolences and wishes him quick recovery, cancels planned holiday hiking trip over fears of bad luck.

• Kelpie forces counter attack to Rossan invasion, enraged by this attack on their embassy they also move to commit their national forces to sabotaging the HOL forces on other fronts

• Rossan forces retreat before casualties mount, leaving some equipment behind. The warships begin sustained bombardment campaign of the island, as well as limited targeted torpedo attacks underwater, with strikes aiming at military installations and defenses.

As his resignation is announced, so too is a special snap election for the newly vacant position. The election will be presided over and managed by Lodwyn Elsteay, current Lt. President, as she decides to abstain from running. The elections voting week itself will begin in 3 months. All candidates must complete a basic test of utlian history, culture and politics before being allowed to run properly.

Although Isola does not have enough support to veto its passage, the Dux seems to have unease as Bartolomeo Marone, an internationalist member of his own party, indicated that he would not support a funding measure that would "exclusively benefit the Families". A round of private negotiations is allegedly taking place to prevent a public rift within the internationalist coalition.
• Bartolomeo Marone, a Mare Advisor whose support for the current Dux seems wavering, privately meets with industrial representatives of the Morelio Family. The meeting ends on a tense note, as the Advisor lashes out at a proposal to support spending bill into Family industries in exchange for company shares. "I joined this party in support of free trade and allies, not to be part of this incestuous feud!"

• the MPLMoN begins policy of deporting criminals to the Copper Kingdom. The Copper Kingdom was not consulted on this.
• Polling stations officially open across Utlia, the two primary candidates being Areen Leshen and Wlykalt Syenter, minor candidates include head of mining, Lumenet iruen and convicted murderer Toers Uen.
• As polling stations close, it is announced that Governor of North Utlia, Wlykalt Syenter and econonist Crymia Myrn have won by 50% Areen Leshen taking 48% The victory speech will be given at the Kiyrn pavilion in Unlaunen-Ut, as opposed to the typical choice of Tinlea-Ut. Following the speech, the two men are officially inaugurated at the Az'aey building in Unlaunen-ut
• The military spending package passes without Mare objections. The Advisor from Lorma, at first believed to be a dissenting voice, refuses to comment. The package sets out heightened spending on production of military equipment, as well as acquiring manufacturing licenses from HoL members, with a mostly export-based focus rather than domestic needs in mind. Rules surrounding claimage of welfare benefits are tightened, in efforts to rein in spending.
• A new building begins construction in Goyhalna. Habžil'l Yâmitân (Temple of Books) is to be a collection of literature both from the island and imported, both fiction and fact. It is to stand at a breathtaking 10 stories tall, easily the tallest building on the island. It is estimated the construction of the building will take between 7 and 15 years.
• In an unprecedented scene, half of the President's advisory cabinet, including general Malela Teke, the Udumap and the Taaqba Lords have refused communication with the president in coordination with the growing anti-war movement, led by Modaka They point to the recent Utlian election during the war as evidence for ability to conduct an election. The president however is adamant that war efforts are prioritised over democracy.
• As the first official act of the new presidency, Syenter and Myrn use executive administration abilities and remove the Azztanist Peoples Association from the Coalition of Utlian Radicals, the group being deemed "unsafe and volatile" by the new president.
• Areen leshen proposes the production of building sized mechanized suits as weapons, shows schematics that follow a similar idea to the stride utilization project The plan is rejected due to cost.

• Areen Leshen sends schematics and plans for Project Urla, his recently rejected plan for production of building sized armor for use in Utlian military and freight to the Utlian Military Research and Development division despite being told he cannot move forward on the idea.
• (Next day) Project Urla begins development in secret at a facility in Wynlia
• The Army of Kalam starts using regular javelins along with explosive ones to reduce costs and instill fear of undetonated explosives in enemy lines.
• Libel Slandrason of Clan Tamak, Curator of Iron, He Who Breaks Assassins with Word Alone, Usurper of the Council of Directors, The Morning and the Evening Star, Master of the Akasa, Exarch of the Earth and Sea, Tribune of the End Times, announces that the last major pockets of the Dvergur have been burnt out of the caves beneath Niueyjar. To commemorate this monumentus achivement he has elected to title himself the Herald of the New Age and the Duke of the Ashen Depths. To ensure that the CNN isn't weighed down by the burdens of the past he also announced that the libraries of the Dvergur will be undergone a demolition and renovation.
• Modhes Ywl announces that Libel Slandrason, known also as Png-Nwi, The First Spawn of Mas Kel-Thuurm, Prisoner of Steel, He Who Blights The Hearts of Man, Adversary to The Dragon, Enemy of All, shall be pay for all his crimes, and shall so be eviscerated that he will never Be again.
• Modaka Oken gives impromptu, passionate speech outside his home to a small crowd that gathered after he threw an armed attacker from his upper story window. Witnesses claim to have seen the man struggle to get up, before taking his weapon and fleeing the scene. Both the man and Modaka were bruised and injured. Modaka claims the attacker was an agent of his 'opponents', will not state whom said opponents are.

• The Rossan Armed Forces call off their vessels, returning to the island's shore.

• Independent journalist acquires financial records of Padeno hospital, where the chief administrator was found dead via defenestration.

• Modhes Temple issues letter to Governor of Wesia telling them they shall protect their state, but not the Federation. Implicitly they suggest for Wesia to declare independance, which Deysachin will enforce, but more directly they state that they will not join in the federation's war unless it comes to Wesia.
  • Modhes Temple issues letter to Wlykalt Syenter urging uninvolvement in Casean war, as it is likely that, given that Utlia already owns a portion of Casea and is largely involved with the splitting of their state, any Utlian involvement in war will sour Caseic views toward them and towards the Hol and a whole, and could even push then towards Akuta.
  • Modhes Temple issues letter to [whoever would be the person to issue letter to] in the GNU, explicitly cautioning against involvement in the prefichi-federation war but "accidentally" implying they'd be better off curbing prefichi before they get too strong and come for them
• (next day) Syenter replies to the Modhes letter stating that while he would prefer to avoid war at all but is put into a rough place on account of Prefichi being a loyal ally.

• Faltir enters talks with anti-Nieujyar coalition, requesting the transfer of Nilaljar occupation to Nongba in exchange for direct military action
  • Modhes Millitaria rejects transfer of their occupied Naliljar land, suggests instead that Faltir invade north Niueyjar or perhaps bomb themselves instead
• Modhes Millitaria troops on naliljar are given a slight change of orders, to no longer prevent the invading CNNN from crawling north into the Kalam occupied territory.
• With the growing push for a pause in military action, Aakar Byenama announces as CEO of the Okriti Merchant Navy that as a private company they will continue their actions on a contract basis, whether there is a ceasefire or not. Official Okriti military actions will continue, with much complaint from head of defence Malela Teke, who now has to organise a new navy from scratch, alongside coordinating law enforcement, and continual military support to the war.
• General Malela pledges military support to Modaka, the Udumap and Taaqba lords likewise pledge their personal guards.
• Faltiro-Nongban forces press into coalition occupied Nilaljar, although no formal declaration of war is sent.
• Libel Slandrason announces that CNN forces are making strong gains in Naliljar while pushing north, calls Faltirans and HoL forces both discount Akarians.
  • Modhes Temple clarifies that Libel Slandrason is a genuine Akarian, and is claiming other islands to not be so. Further proof of Libel being a Mn'krapanti, Modhes Temple claims
  • Libelian officials come to their leaders defense after recent remarks from the Modhes Temple, claiming that Libel can't be a mnkripantul as that's a samfelak work and he's a proud Niueyjara.
  • Modhes Temple decries that Libel Slandrason, due to being an incarnation of the first demon Png-Nwi, who was born not in Niueyjar but in the horrid womb of Mas Kel-Thuurm at the mouth of time, is not a Niueyjara at all, whivh is evidenced by his burning hatred for all aspects of Niueyjar

  • CNNTDF forces push north to occupy lands abandoned by NoK
• Giornale Economico publishes poll asking respondents "How big of an impact has the war with Niueyjar made on your livelihood?" 28% of responses stated "very little", with another 22% claiming "mostly little". An additional 30% of answers stated "Unsure/I do not follow the news/There's a war going on?" Only 14% of respondents answered with "somewhat large" or "very large". Although the newspaper makes note of certain economic impacts, such as that the war would likely raise prices and reduce exports due to unsafe waters, and warning against austerity, the poll awakens discussion over whether the war is truly necessary. In response, the Dux makes a statement in support of maintaining the autonomy and sovereignty of its allies, proudly pronouncing that as small of a country La Rossa is, it will not be moved aside in the world of archipelago affairs.
