Biography
Early life and 1st Oken Election
Nailar Oken was born on 12-6 119 TT to Naikar Oken, Leader of the Oken and Unoi Oken, an Ilksken native. Three days after her birth, Naikar issued Oken Dictate 2 of 1668 ACC making the Leader of the Oken an elected title. The dictate created 100 electoral votes, each owned by a member of the Oken, 50 of these were given to Nailar, the other 50 to Nailar's older sister Arakar. After the death of the Leader of the Oken, the members of the Oken who own votes elect the next Leader of the Oken from among the Oken. It specified that if one with votes was under 20 years of age then their closest living relative could cast their votes for them.
Naikar died on 22-1 116 TT triggering the 1st Oken Election. As both Nailar and her sister were under 20 years old, their mother, Unoi Oken, decided who they would choose to elect. On 1-2 116 TT, Arakar Oken was revealed to have won the election and ascended as the first female Leader of the Oken. After the election Nailar and her mother remained in Oksken until 5-6 110 TT when they moved to Ilksken.
Warden of Ilksken
Though Ilksken had been founded in 328 TT, the town lacked a head or ruling council, with most positions in the town's government being filled by people in Oksken and the job of managing the town being one of the Leader of the Oken's duties. On 12-6 99 TT, Arakar Oken created the position of Warden of Ilksken and gave the position to Nailar.
Nailar was ambitious and planned to turn Ilksken from a farming town into a "second Oksken". Her goal was hindered by the fact that around half of the land in the town was owned by her cousin Domlak Oken. Nailar met with Domlak on 28-5 93 TT and made a deal with him; Domlak would give Nailar all of his land and assets in Ilksken and in exchange, Nailar would give him 20 of her 50 electoral votes.
On 24-9 89 TT, Nailar Oken and her uncle, High Director of the Oken Army, Minai Dantai agreed to relocate the headquarters of the Oken Army to Ilksken.
Unoi Oken died on 5-8 73 TT. On 16-8 73 TT Arakar made Nailar Warden of the Oken, a position previously held by their mother. The duties of the role were filling in for the Leader of the Oken's day-to-day duties when they were unavailable. For Nailar this meant more paperwork being sent to Ilksken when Arakar was out of the kadrike.
Death
Nailar Oken died on 29-7 51 TT in a car accident. In her will, Nailar split her 30 electoral votes between her two daughters.
Marriage
Nailar Oken married Fortora Oken on 1-1 98 TT. Fartora's father, Banchar, had been executed for inciting the Oken Revolt of 116 TT. The marriage was done to try and quell any chances of a second revolt breaking out
