The Naqha (N'sho Naqha) is a species of flower native to T'vaqi.
Description
Naqha flowers possess thick, green-yellow stems and white petals. The flowers are recognizable for their distinctive arched stems, with petals perpendicular to the ground. Clusters of Naqha flowers often resemble deliberately constructed domes. Naqha flowers produce an abundance of nectar compared to other flower species on the island, making them a favorable food source for Ash Moths.
In culture
Domes of Naqha flowers were believed to be the dwellings of sacred animals among the factions of early T'vaqi. This belief has since faded into obscurity, though the flower's spiritual influence remains. Gardens of Naqha flowers are the most popular location in the country for cremated remains to be spread; offerings are often made to the flowers to communicate with the deceased. The High Institute of the Arts features a Naqha flower on its emblem.
