Nasal binding is an archaic medical practice in the Caseic Archipelago, wherein the nose is bound by a thick fibre. Nasal binding became common around 1900 TT when an airborne disease lead to widespread memory loss throughout the Caseic Archipelago, as it effectively protected people from the disease. It later became a common tradition to bind the noses of newborn children. Over time, this lead to the appearance of the Caseic Nose.
