The Caseic Archipelago is a tropical archipelago consisting of Casea, Brisa, and the small islands nearby. Before the Grand Calming, the archipelago consisted of seventeen states united under the Caseic Federation, which had formed in 49 TT. Beginning in 26 PC, pieces of the Federation broke apart as external influences and the war with Tietero exacerbated internal conflict.
The Caseic archipelago has two dominant autochthonous religions: Framjism and Gastism.
History
Forgotten Era
This period of time was forgotten about.
Ancient Era
The Ancient Era is a term used by Caseic historians to describe the era when the first written records were written.
Classical Era
The Classical Era refers to the period of time in which the archipelago was dominated by three large empires: the Chacya Kingdom, the Cajia Kingdom, and the Nacha Republic.
The Caseic Weatherplague occurred during the Classical Era.
Vigintarchy Era
The Vigintarchy Era refers to when those empires broke apart into a total of twenty smaller states:

The Federation Era refers to when the Caseic Federation began to be formed in the aftermath of the Brisa War.

In the First Great Attu War, Prefichi, the Greater Nayela Union, and Esiga all became independent of the Federation.
State of the Archipelago in 50 PC
As at 50 PC, the Caseic Archipelago was divided into five states:
- The Caseic Federation
- The Kingdom of Prefichi
- The Greater Nayela Union
- Brenjia, a province of Greater Utlia
- The Kingdom of Esiga
Caseic Federation
The Caseic Federation controls the south of Casea, the island of Brisa, and the state of Jifancaya in the far north of Casea. It is governed by a Federal Council consisting of nineteen representatves for each state of the Federation. The Federal Council appoints a Federal Foreign Minister (FFM), who represents the Caseic Federation for the purposes of foreign affairs.
In terms of religion, the Federation is officially religiously neutral, but ever since the G.N.U. and Esiga became independent, Gastism is the majority religion. Other religions are tolerated: Framjism is still dominant in Framjaria, Fejafia, Capa Framji, northern Irachi, and Jifancaya; Wesia has a significant Modhesian minority.
Prefichi
The Kingdom of Prefichi controls the northwest of Casea. It is ruled by King Prebache XV. Prefichi used to be a state of the Federation, but declared independence from the Federation in 26 PC, during the First Great Attu War, as a result of a bizarre series of events during FFM Chuwe Brifam's visit to Niueyjar.
Prefichi is majority Framjist.
Greater Nayela Union
The Greater Nayela Union controls part of the central north of Casea, stretching from the western coast to the eastern coast. It is the economic centre of the archipelago, as a result of sea trading from the port cities of Caifra, Ibe-Nayela, Bainache, and Brenji. The G.N.U. became independent from the Federation in 30 PC, during the First Great Attu War. The Greater Nayela Union is itself a federation of smaller states: Abayea, West Nayela, East Nayela, and Bainachia.
The G.N.U. is majority Framjist, but is in general religiously tolerant of minority faiths, of which the most common are Gastism, Azztanism, and Mirroi.
Brenjia
Brenjia is a former state of the Greater Nayela Union, but became a protectorate of Utlia in 26 PC as a result of the destruction of Brenji during the First Great Attu War. In 42 PC, it became a province of Utlia, and is currently governed by President Prias Jerifram-Aca.
Brenjia is religiously tolerant, with Framjism, Azztanism, and Gastism being the most common religions.
Esiga
The Kingdom of Esiga controls the northeast of Casea. During the First Great Attu War, it joined the Greater Nayela Union after Brenjia became a protectorate of Utlia. Esiga left the Greater Nayela Union in the 44 PC after the death of King Inswem IV without an heir resulted in chaos. The Kingdom is currently ruled by Landgrave Hafolibre sa Oran.
Esiga is majority Framjist.
