Operation Antethylene was a long-term military operation beginning in 58 PC by the Kingdom of Prefichi attempting to destabilise the Caseic Federation amidst the Casea-Prefichi War.
58 PC Explosions
In late 58 PC, large explosions occurred in Ibe-Jibin and the then-under-construction Circuit City, injuring tens of civilians. One of the perpetrators captured claimed to be doing so on behalf of the government of Jasfeya. Federation investigators later deduced that the explosion was a deliberate false flag operation by the Prefichian military.
In 59 PC, the Federal Council authorised a military draft, with FFM Cya Iri-Semwache citing the explosions as a motivating factor for instituting the draft. Fromachi III, the Duke of Jasfeya, denounced the draft and supported local protests against the draft.
60 PC
On ##-# 60 PC, the Prefichian military used the PF Confirmatio to launch a surprise attack against the town of Jim-Pechi, Panifra.
On ##-# 60 PC, Federal Foreign Minister Cya Iri-Semwache was attacked by hooligans in Ibe-Jibin. Simultaneously, King Prebache XV made reference to the name "Operation Antethylene" in a speech.
On ##-# 60 PC, the PF Partitio launched missiles at Sencharea. Some of these missiles were improperly calibrated, and landed in Abayea.
