Royal Utlian Army

The Royal Utlian Army (RUA) was the military organization controlled by the Kingdom of Utlia. The army was established by Wynlid Liamia in 1101 TT and replaced the Eutan and Frish royal armies. The RUA was officially dissolved in 6 TT by Yyme Braia and Mal Ignis.

History

Formation

The RUA was formed by a decree given by Utyr of Utlia Wynlid Liamia to merge the Frish and Eutan kingdoms military into one for the now unified Utlia.

Wars

The RUA was the entirety of the Unified Kingdoms military and fought in every one of its wars, the first of which was the 8 month war against Lesyhan after they refused an annexation request.

Revolt

The RUA was the primary aggressor of the RGOU Revolt against the monarch of Utlia, Ywylin. This was caused by the budget slashes where Ywylin diverted money from many of Utlias public systems into his own account, the RUA was hit hardest, with 70% of their budget being re-routed. This led the RUA to form the RGOU and begin inciting the revolt, now led by Mal Ignis, the RUAs respected director. The RUA deposed of Ywylin and the RGOU formed the Republic of Utlia.

Replacement

After the formation of the Republic of Utlia, president Yyme Braia and RUA Director Mal Ignis dissolved the RUA and formed the Utlian Miliatry branches used today. With members of the RUA keeping their job and rank, as well as Mal running the new Republics Military.
