Mal Ignis was an Utlian general, military advisor, and diplomat from Kelna-Ut. He was the main commander and head of the Utlian Military. Mal died in his sleep on 22-1 41 PC.

Biography
Early Life
Mal was born in 37 TT to upper-class nobles in eastern Kelna-Ut. Growing up, he gained an interest in politics from reading about the history of Utlia and its political system. As a teenager, his family moved to Tinlea-Ut after their wealth had outgrown the upper class suburbs of Kelna-Ut. This is where Mal met future president Yyme and his future Head Advisor Votan, with the latter later radicalizing Mal into anti-monarchy beliefs.
Utlian Civil War
Leading up to the Utlian Civil War, Votan convinced Mal to help him strategize and eventually fight in the war. Before the battles and fighting of the war kicked off, Mals career was mainly focused around the small villages in the capital region of Utlia, where he would spread propaganda and build rapport and a figure in the resistance movement. When the true civil war broke out, Mal fought in the battle of Kelna-Ut and the final siege on the palace of Tinlea-Ut.
Modern Utlia
After the war, Mal was awarded an Azzta Favor, a war medal given to those who helped greatly during the civil war. He was also appointed as Yyme's Military advisor and as the commander of Utlia's national guard.
Mal Ignis arrived at Neerakta Military Base on 7-12 10 PC to serve as the leader of Utlia's forces in the Kelelemi Civil War.
After Yyme's death, Mal was on the nomination committee to select a successor, he voted for Hia El and became her Military Advisor of the Upper Cabinet.
Mal Ignis met with Leader of the Oken, Kuzakar Oken on 12-9 22 PC to discuss Dakar's Uprising. Kuzakar convinced Mal to send a force to Akaria to intervene against Dakar Oken. The forces arrived on 14-9 and two days later aided the Oken Army in recapturing Moss Vale.
After the first federal election, Mal was selected to be Military Advisor of the Upper Cabinet for UBP winner Ire Liamia.
After Ire Liamia was replaced by Swyl Shote in the 32 PC Elections, he was selected once again to be the Military Advisor for the president.
Politics
Mal is a member of the UBP and the Upper cabinet advisor for the land military in Utlia. His way of running the military and military relations involves his belief in Eastern Bloc unity and the strengthening with other eastern countries, mainly Akaria
