It was reported on 30-5 10 PC that Yenakapol was under heavy bombardment.

Yenakapol reported shortages of food and medical supplies on 11-6 10 PC.

On 14-6 10 PC a spokesman for the SLU said: "Civilian casualties are the result of tragic accidents and criminal activity within the city that cannot be blamed on us" despite the SLU's reported use of snipers, mortars and roaming militias against civilians in the city.

A mortar struck a marketplace in Yenakapol on 6-8 10 PC, killing 60 civilians and injuring dozens.

The SLU bombarded the city with heavy artillery on 20-9 10 PC, greatly damaging the city.
