Mabui Ucyah Praani Bu Jadyah Ahr Shegmoyah, known commonly as Uc Praani, is a wanted criminal, former head of the Sufok Aj movement, and high ranking member of The Second Qoeul-bo Hrnad. After the collapse of the movement, Uc fled to Abayea, wherin he assumed a false identity and began anew as a black market smuggler. In 41 PC, he left Abayea to join his brother in The Second Qoeul-bo Hrnad, wherein he shot through the ranks and acts as the defacto leader. He is the second most wanted man in Deysachin, after Uishmaan Kwabdr Jc'longdi.

Early Life

Praani was born on the 3rd day of the 21st Idrstrasi month of the year 401, to parents Mabve Jadyah Praani Bu Chimyah Ahr Ucyah Ahr Lemyah and Ferwa Drmakhajie Jaloi Sif Praani Bu Bonigjie Bu Ulyah Ahr Ucyah Ahr Lemyah Pin Eldiby. Jad Praani had been a laborer, working variously as a coal miner, construction worker, unlicensed carpenter, and field plower. He died when Uc was 4. Uc's mother, Drmakha, was a self proclaimed priestess, and was an expert in Idrstras folk religion.

Uc and his brother were homeschooled until their teen years, and Uc's grades in public school after enrolling were poor. Despite this, he graduated from secondary education and worked for some time as a laborer like his father. Uc was known to be religious from a young age, being prominant alongside his mother in the Idrstras Sasatanl'c underground.

Sufok Nche

At some point in the summer of the 9 PC, Uc, alongside his brother Lem, invited some friends in the religious underground to partake in what he claimed was an ancient ritual, passed down through generations. The group burned items of Modhesian propaganda in a great pile, then stripped nude and covered themselves head to toe in the resulting ash. The group then marched in a circle and chanted in Old Idrstrasi (whether any in the group actually knew any of the old tongue is unclear). It was at this point, it is claimed, that Praani began to breath fire, and annointed himself and his fellow worshipers as "The New Kingdom of Ash." He took the title of Sufok Nche ("Alabaster King"), and deigned the whole of the group to be the Sufok Aj ("Alabaster Folk"). From this day, the group would regularly meet and conduct similar such rituals. It began to acrew members, and develop cult-like behavior. Uc Praani was said to be only the first among equals but it was he who determined all of the group's activities and ideas, though it has been suggested that behind the scenes there was heavy influence from his mother, and some from his brother.

Uc developed a cult of personality for himself within the movement. He was seen by many in a messianic light, and had effectively unlimited power over his followers. The only people in the movement who would question Uc's ideas would be Lem and their mother. Uc ran the Sufok Aj at times like that of a mafia, with proclaimed members being protected from reprecussions for illegal or imoral actions by other members of the group. Uc, as well as many others, used his connections within the group to finance operations black market trade of firearms into the country and distribution of alchohol and qillom. By the time that the Sufok Aj fell apart, it is estimated that Uc was among the richest people in the country.

Collapse of the Sufok Aj and flight from Deysachin

The Deysachni government had been working to take down the group from the start, and on 29-10 22 PC conducted a large scale bust of the movement. Almost all prominant figures were detained, save only for Drmakha, who had died the year prior, and Uc, who fled the country with a small contingent of low level followers and a large sum of wealth just as the crack-down began. How Uc came to know beforehand of the bust is unknown. Though Uc fled with a large sum of money, it was less than a tenth of that owned by the organization.

Praani's life from this point is murky, and little is known. Xo Miilba, the fake name he would use in Abayea, first appears in paperwork on 25-3 24 PC, on a list of sailors on board a commercial fishing vessel. The name would appear several more times over the years, before vanishing in 41 PC. Xo would have a son, by the legal name of Coj Miilba, on 16-7 26 PC, who later also appears alongside his father on sailor manifests, and who also would disappear in 41 PC. Nothing is known of Coj's mother.

According to rumors and hearsay, during this time Uc Praani slowly became aquainted with the Casean black market, earning money as a smuggler of illicit substances and building connections with othersuch individuals. Supposedly, around the time that the Qoeul-bo Hrnad left Deysachin for the Ronatana sea, Uc had himself independantly decided to move to join the pirates, and took his son with him. There in the seas, he reunited with his brother Lem, now a high ranking member of The Second Qoeul-bo Hrnad.
