The Urscalt is a creature of Utlian Folklore said to inhabit the western forests of Utlia. The Urscalt is said to be an intelligent Urla with three heads.
Description
The origins of the Urscalt are unclear but tales of them probably began spreading around 1800 TT.
Anatomy
The Urscalt is said to have three heads, the center one housing the brain, the creature is said to be as smart as a university educated man. The left and right heads are according to tradition, used to devour travelling Telans who wander off into the Urscalt's domain. The middle head condones this violence despite not wanting to partake himself.
In culture
The Mountange tourist town of Urla-Ut has the Urscalt on its city emblem. Also in Urla-Ut, the Urscalerst festival is held.
