Wave Island

Wave Island is a small uninhabited island in the far reaches of the Eastern Ocean. It was first noted by the Akarian Scouting Force in 22 PC, then rediscovered by the 2nd Sarkist State approximately two decades later.

Geography

Wave Island is roughly circular in shape. At its widest point, it is roughly [210 meters] in diameter, though this fluctuates slightly according to weather conditions. The surface of the island consists entirely of sand, which becomes more coarse as one moves inland. A large tree is present at the center of the island, described by the ASF as "thin and winding in stem, with plated bark and large frond leaves." The same tree was recorded by the 2nd Sarkist State, with no apparent differences in description.

Climate

Wave Island maintains a warm ambient temperature. The ASF noted cloudy weather, sunny weather, and rainy weather.

Discoveries

Wave Island was first documented and named by the Akarian Scouting Force during a 22 PC expedition into the far Eastern Ocean. Most known information about the island is taken from this account. The ASF maintained a presence on Wave Island for no more than a day.

Two decades after the original ASF expedition, three Sarkist Eastern Ocean explorers rediscovered Wave Island. No markers left by the ASF remained. The explorers claimed the island for the 2nd Sarkist State, giving it the name Tranquility.

No visits to the island have been made since.
