Management

The Akarian Scouting Force is led by a High Director.

History

Grand Calming

The Akarian Scouting Force was established on 18-2 1 PC by Harakar's 2nd Dictate in the aftermath of the Grand Calming to survey the newly accessible ocean. Targhon Skrake was appointed to serve as the force's first High Director.

Search for Spyron

On 18-1 9 PC in the aftermath of the 2nd Calming, the Akarian Scouting Force began investigate the source of the radio signals.

On 20-1 9 PC, the Serene Merchant Navy mobilised and began a search for other islands. The announcement of the mobilisation was heard of the radio by people in the Attu Archipelego. Two days later Harakar ordered the Akarian Scouting Force to send a single ship to locate the Serene Merchant Navy.

Charting the Eastern Ocean

On 5-4 15 PC, the ASF deployed ships to the Eastern Ocean in an attempt to chart it.

They returned from their mission on 24-5 16 PC, having charted a great portion of the Eastern Ocean and having found many islands and an overabundance of whales.

On 28-5 16 PC, Ahabakar Oken leased half of the ships of the ASF for use by the East Oken Company in the Eastern Ocean.

Niueyjar-Eastern Bloc War

On 12-3 18 PC, the Arkara of Akaria released a document containing evidence that Johnakar Oken, the late father of Living King, Harakar Oken, had ordered the deaths of several notable figures across the Attu Archipelago including Vidar Astridson of Niueyjar and several figures from Akaria, bringing the country into a state of internal unrest and creating tension with the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CNN). Harakar Oken, deemed it necessary to streamline parts of Akaria's military and issued his 14th Dictate on 29-5 18 PC transferring all naval assets of the Living Army including ships, ports and shipyards to the Akarian Scouting Force.

The CNN declared war on the Eastern Bloc on 4-6 18 PC, on that same day Harakar ordered the Akarian Scouting Force to monitor CNN fleet locations.

On 11-1 23 PC a segment of the scouting force were sighted off the coast of the Glanes Confederation. The ships returned on 13-1 towing 6 Nongban ships.

On 23-1 20 PC, the recently elected Living King, Artak Arkara ordered the ASF to the Eastern Ocean to find Ahabakar Oken and bring him to Manser claiming that he wanted to meet him. The ASF found Ahabakar in Johnakar on 27-1 and departed for Manser, leaving a small force behind to govern the town. When the ASF arrived at Manser on 30-1, men loyal to Artak took Ahabakar and handed him over to the CNN. The next day Targhon Skrake resigned as High Director of the Akarian Scouting Force in protest.

YDF ships

On 23-11 22 PC, the YDF secretly sent the copper they secretly owed Akaria to Akaria, but lost radio contact with the ships and decommissioned the six ships, revoked the citizenship of their crews and sent Akaria their coordinates. The ASF was sent to collect the ships and was seen off the coast of the Glanes Confederation on 11-1 23 PC. They were sighted again on 13-1 with six Nongban made ships in tow. After their return to Akaria, Akaria was left with a large number of Nongban prisoners with no way to try them. Artak's 11th Dictate was issued on 8-6 23 PC to adress this issue, granting the ASF the ability to try people detained by them for violations of Living Law and the ability to establish prisons in the Eastern Ocean on unclaimed islets. At the same time the Nongban Constitution was amended to disallow citizens from releasing any prisoners kept in foreign nations. It was reported on 4-7 that the six vessels had been incorporated into the ASF. Psaha Yol claimed that the six ships were run down and sold to Akaria in a private auction.
