Biography

Za'yba Nnhiri was born to Moryaf'id Nnhiri and Jabasiwe Hwaktuse in Laimnoupaw on 440.01.48, or 7-12 1 PC. At the time of her birth, her father was a trademaster within the Sjehwakna Province Trade Commision, of which her materal grandparents were both sitting council chiefs. Her birth had been the result of a forbidden affair between her parents, which saw her father put on trial for conflict of financial interest. Following his successful proving of the affair as purely romantic, her parents were wed. Her family fortune grew slowly across her youth, exploding following the end of the Great Hesitancy and opening of international trade. In 27 PC, Moryaf'id bought out the entire Commission, creating the largest company in Deysachin at that time.

In 35 PC, Za'yba was wed to Deygrama Arthur, heir of the Arthuri Estate. Their marriage was arranged by their families as a business move, but the couple fell in love shortly after meeting. They have four children, two of whom are high ranking Modhes clergy.

Moryaf'id passed away in 43 PC, leaving Jabasiwe as the owner of the Nnhiri Trade Company. When she herself passed six years later, she willed the entire company to Za'yba, who was their only child. Immediately following this, the trade company was folded into the Arthuri Estate, which was subsequently renamed to the Nhiriat Estate. Due to owning 57% of the estate by value, Za'yba became the de facto sole executor. In the years following, she embarked on a series of acquisitions, eventually bringing the whole of the Nhiriat Estate under the Trade Company umbrella.

Za'yba's tenure as owner saw the Trade Company dramatically expand across Deysachin and begin opening into foreign markets such as Hapšâw. By the early 60s, it was the largest company in Deysachin. This position was maintained for nearly twenty years, primarily through a very healthy relationship with and steady stream of donations to Modhes Temple (such as one providing a lion's share of funding for the expedition to Sa Tam). Following a series of economic measures in its home province of Sjehwakna however, it lost this place to Hrcyhwo'ghah Industries. Hrcyhwo'ghah Industries and Zenith Food & Spice were sold the majority of the assets of the Trade Company in 79 and 80 PC; as the owners of both companies are married to two of Za'yba's children, it is thought that this was a method of early property transfer.

Za'yba is now largely retired, and regularly travels the world with her husband.
