The Utlian Kingdom was an absolute monarchy that governed over the entirety of the island of Utlia. The kingdom was formed via the unification of the Eutan Kingdom and Frish Kingdom. The formation of the Kingdom signified the end of the Citystate dominated Utlia that had persisted for a thousand years.
History
The Utlian Kingdom, officially the Unified Kingdom of Utlia came about after a unification treaty between the Frish and Eutan kingdoms which were the two largest powers on the island. The treaty stipulated that Wynlid Liamia would become king of the new Utlia, however he needed to have at least 2 Frish advisors. The treaty was signed in a site near modern Balmor-Ut, by the Balmor river. The other major stipulation of the treaty was the creation of a new capital, away from the capitals of the two kingdoms as to not play favorites. There were 5 years of deliberation on the topic, wherein the cities of Unlaunen and Kelna were treated as both being capitals, to appease both former-kingdoms.
