The Utlian Kingdom was an absolute monarchy that governed over the entirety of the island of Utlia. The kingdom was formed after a unification between the Eutan Kingdom and Frish Kingdom.

History

The Utlian Kingdom, officially the Unified Kingdom of Utlia came about after a unification treaty between the two biggest powers on the island, being the Frish and Eutan kingdoms. The treaty stipulated that Wynlid Liamia would become king of the new Utlia, however he needed to have atleast 2 Frish advisors. The treaty was signed in a site near modern Balmor-Ut, by the Balmor river. The other major stipulation of the treaty was the creation of a new capital, away from the capitals of the two kingdoms as to not play favorites. There were 5 years of deliberation on the topic, wherein the cities of Unlaunen and Kelna were treated as both being capitals, to appease both former-kingdoms.

Wynlid Rule

Upon taking the throne, Wynlid married a member of the Frish royal family, Hess Frish became the queen of Utlia and thus, held half the power. The kingdom then began to annex the nearby city-states of Tela, Dirn and Lesyhan. Tela and Dirn accepted treaties for their land in exchange for noble statuses for the ruling families. Lesyhan refused a similar treaty, leading a 8 month war which saw an Utlian victory on 1097 TT. After this war, all inhabited land on the island became owned by the Unified Monarchy.

The annexation of Tela brought upon the site for a singular capital the nation was looking for, in the form of a small village named Tinlea. The decision to build up the land into a capital was decided on 13-4 1096 TT.

Sometime in 1060 TT, Wynlid Liamia died of natural causes, mere months after His wife Hess also died, their son Lofse Liamia and his wife Yresh took over in their place.
