The CFS Fromachi II was constructed by the Caseic Federation to explore the waters to the northeast. It was the ship that found Utlia, thereby activating the First Contact Protocol.

On 6-2 1 PC, following the Grand Calming, the Federal Council authorised the CFS Fromachi II, along with the CFS Jiricaya to explore the ocean.
