The Djaju are an indigenous, ethnolinguistic group endemic to Kalam. They are the second most populous ethnic group of Kalam and despite historically living among the mountains and hilly regions of therein they have long collaborated and intermingled with the Maichun people who tended to live in the plains along with other ethnic groups of Kalam.
