Biography
Pelip Undo was born under the civil name Rrumi Sokwa on 22-2 27 TT to Elder Todo Undo and was fathered by the nobleman Ijwa Chako.
Rule
Pelip was made Elder on 7 TT at 20 years old, adopting the name "Pelip", meaning "Piece of rock" in Todari, to honour his ethnicity. His federalization of the city of Techan and protection of local war refugees gained him the fame of "Peacemaker Undo" (Tanko Undo). He would continue to address diplomatic issues in neglected rural areas throughout his early career
In 5 PC he also motioned for the construction of Ukunun bridge which would facilitate tributes and trade between the cities of Koña and Terokin. The project took longer than expected but it's effects are said to pay off into the current day.
On 38 PC it was announced that at the age of 65 Elder Pelip had shown signs of mental deterioration with age. Out of respect and due being unable to in good faith receive his consent, Elder Pelip never retired, instead ruling ceremonially until his death in 48 PC when he was succeeded by his eldest song Nin-Sokyu Undo.
