Various claims of the Gemnis rivers in 87 PC

The Gemnis Rivers are two parallel rivers in the south of the island of Casea. The rivers begin at the Great Caseic Mountains and end at the Pechi Coast. The river is used to demarcate the eastern borders of Chaba, Fejafia, and the western borders of Capa Framji and Yecha. The land between the rivers is disputed territory, claimed by all five states.

Hydro-generation scheme

In 36 PC, the Caseic Federal Council voted 149-134 in favour of constructing two new hydroelectric generators on the Gemnis Rivers.

Eastern Gemnis States and Capa Framji indepdendence

When the Eastern Gemnis States and Capa Framji declared independence from the Caseic Federation, the disputed territory between the rivers became a matter of greater contention.

Western Gemnis State

The flag of the Western Gemnis State

In 84 PC, a 53-year-old La Rossan set up a tent in the land between the rivers, and declared the existence of the Western Gemnis State. The government of La Rossa called for the detainment and extradition of the 53-year-old after this incident, but neither the Caseic Federation nor the Eastern Gemnis States were successful in detaining or extraditing the 53-year-old. Later, FFM Bweichec Wiche met with Triple King Fromachi III, and they agreed not to recognise the Western Gemnis State. The Imp Cult requested aid from the Western Gemnis State, but the request was ignored.

In 86 PC, King Prebache XVI sent a diplomat and later a military force to aid the Western Gemnis State. This lead to increasing tension between Prefichi and the Eastern Gemnis State.
