Biography
Early life
Barhobok Samatan was born on 5-10 5 TT in the town of Orak.
Sarkism
On 9-12 12 PC Akarian author, Sarkay Obat published a book advocating for the abolition of the osslettes and the purging of the Thessda Range of all Andu. Barhobok didn't know a thing about the osslettes but knew he didn't like the Andu and saw purging the range of them as advantagoues as it would allow Orak to expand (as the town was up against the Andu Wall). Sarkay published a second book on 10-10 15 PC, which advocated for reform of Akaria's foreign policy, advocating for the dissolution of the foreign zones. Barhobok agreed with this point only because he could not argue against it. because it would allow the rest of Akaria to learn about the poverty in Oksken. Barhobok attended Sarkay's conference of intellectuals in Sagat, Haute eee on 2-1 16 PC, having got to Haute eee by being hired by the Akarian Trade Fleet. At the conference, Barhobok took Sarkay's idea that there were only two ethnic groups (the Udenites and Ossenites) and that culture is what keeps the Ossenites divided and interpreted it as culture is the reason why non-Karinians were so wrong to him, having heard tales of the Utlians and seen eeeans during his stay in eee. After the conference Barnhobok remained in Sagat and on 12-5 16 PC, Sarkay made Baneel a member of his newly created Sarkist Assembly.
On 7-8 18 PC, Barhobok followed Sarkay to Paradise Island in the Eastern Ocean where the Sarkist State had been established.
Barhobok got in a debate with fellow Sarkist Assembly memeber Baneel Agokra on 12-4 20 PC. Baneel argued that there was some some inherent value within cultural diversity, whilst Barhobok claimed that there was none and cited various negative ethnic stereotypes. The next day the Royal Palace of Niueyjar placed a bounty on Barhobok for "Wrongspeak against the great people of Niueyjar".
