Background
The Akarian Civil War began on 13-1 16 PC, when the Arkara Army began a march into the Deram Kadrike and were soon joined by the Kakay. Shortly after entering the Deram Kadrike the invading armies turned to enter the Mikare Kadrike as the least mountainous route to Dokraim was through there.
Siege
The Arkara's forces reached Mida on 17-9 16 PC. Not wanting to enter the city to fight a proper battle for it, the Arkara and Kakay began bombarding it in the hopes that the city would surrender.
Leader of the Mikare, Arichium Mikare, fled the city for the Deram Kadrike on 17-10 16 PC.
A few troops of the Deram Army left the city on 5-2 17 PC and fought in a skirmish with the Arkara, before withdrawing back into the city.
The defenders thought the Arkara and Kakay Armies would not be able to break into Mida. The Deram and Mikare Armies began to withdraw from Mida towards Dokraim on 3-10 17 PC as part of a ploy to defeat the invaders. After their withdrawl the Arkara and Kakay Armies took the city.
