Caseic New Year is a public holiday in the Caseic Federation celebrating the end of one year in the Caseic Calendar.
Date
Because of the difference in length between the Caseic Calendar and the Haracalnde, the date of Caseic New Year moves 9 days earlier each year of the Haracalnde. In the Caseic Calendar, the new year occurs on the day -0-01, which follows -Z-27.
Celebrations
Most cities and towns in the Caseic Federation hold a public festival of some sort on Caseic New Year and on the night before.
