Biography
Early life
Gantoek Sartak was born in Sarstai on 16-9 25 TT.
Leader of the Sartak, Hochor Sartak was captured by the Oken on 1-11 19 PC, ending the Oken-Sartak War. He was given to the Skrake who imprisoned him in Saeskar. Hochor was forced to change Sartak succession laws from agnatic primogeniture to appointment and on 5-5 19 PC appointed Gantoek's father, Bantoek Sartak as his successor and resigned, making Bantoek Leader of the Sartak.
Sartak succession crisis
Bantoek was killed on 1-1 22 PC, at the start of Dakar's Uprising. Bantoek had not formally named a successor whilst he was alive leaving the Sartak without a leader. During this time Gantoek was prevented from entering the Grey Hall by the Warden of Sarstai, Homalak Sartak.
The Bokok captured the Grey Hall on 24-8 23 PC with the intent of ending the succession crisis. Gantoek Sartak was named Leader of the Sartak by Leader of the Bokok, Omarok Bokok on 25-1 24 PC after the Bokok changed Sartak Law to specify that in the event that no successor is selected the Leader of the Bokok selects the next Leader of the Sartak.
