History
Utlian locusts and creation
The Utlian locust arrived in Akaria, in or just prior to 84 TT as it was in that year that they began to be a major ecological pest across the Karin Plain. On 5-9 84 TT Living King, Alghui Ikane issued his 3rd Dictate which granted funds to the Oceanic Council to establish the Weer Biological Warfare Division (WBWD) to develop biological weaponry and granted the Living King the right to designate a target for the WBWD to attempt to eradicate. Alghui made the WBWD's first target was the Utlian locust. Using these funds the WBWD created Kadar's Fury by carefully breeding parasitic fungus to target only the Utlian locust. On 6-4 70 TT the WBWD announced that they had used Kadar's Fury to wipe out the Utlian locust and all species of native grasshoppers.
Red spine eaters
On 14-7 16 PC an ecological survey reported 400% more red spine eaters than usual, which posed a major risk for the combkar crop. On 16-7 16 PC, Living King, Harakar Oken designated the red spine eater as the next target for the WBWD who began adapting Kadar's Fury to target red spine eaters.
