Qoqo is a T'vaqi confectionery company headquartered in Vir Alo. The company primarily manufactures sweet candies marketed towards children and young adults. It is the fourth-largest company in T'vaqi.

History

Qoqo was initially founded in 53 TT by Varos Torili, a mineralogist experimenting with temperature changes in sugar. His research proved fruitless, but generated remarkably sweet sugar as a byproduct. Torili began the business by selling his refined, flavored sugar out of a cart. His first batches of candy were flat, translucent, colored panes, which he marketed as edible glass. The business was highly successful, and Torili quickly capitalized on his newfound wealth by investing in factories to mass-produce his confections.

Following the initial success of the business, Qoqo experienced a period of stagnation from 49 to 46 TT as a nationwide food shortage swept the island. Qoqo's profitability grew exponentially after the cessation of the shortage, thanks to a marketing campaign advertising the brand's candy as rich in essential vitamins and nutrients. Qoqo would go on to diversify and expand at a steady rate in the following decades.

During the Tricade War, the Modhesian Army killed Qoqo Main Executive Arqo Toq in a terror attack. His corpse was beheaded and turned in for a reward in Dru'ul. Toq's successor relocated to a different office.

LopiPopi	Flavored sugar in the shape of a sphere. When placed in the mouth, the sphere will dissolve, revealing a smaller square-shaped candy inside.	Briefly discontinued due to being a choking hazard. Sales resumed after Grand Magisters were sufficiently convinced of its safety.
Mhalo	Dried, candied Mhoro fruit slices covered in salted caramel.
LaqaRosi	Pyramid-shaped fried dough with fruit jam inside.	Translates to "Sweet Rosi."

Cyanide Incident

In 3 TT, Qoqo released a limited-edition caramel flavored variation of their namesake candy with a golden wrapper to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary. Hours after the nationwide distribution of the candy, it was realized that an ingredient shipping mishap caused a significant quantity of cyanide to be present in an estimated 30% of bars. Qoqo initiated a swift and panicked recall, discontinuing the product 7 days early. 309 cases of cyanide poisoning and 6 deaths are attributed to the candy's launch.
