Red spine eaters are a species of parrot native to Akaria.

Red spine eaters are seen as a major ecological pest in Akaria as they eat the combkar cernals before they're finished growing.

On 14-7 16 PC an ecological survey reported 400% more red spine eaters than usual. On 16-7 16 PC, Living King, Harakar Oken designated the red spine eater as a target for the Weer Biological Warfare Division who began adapting Kadar's Fury to target red spine eaters.
