Yokadar Deram was born in Durantum, Kingdom of Akaria.
Yokadar's father, Leader of the Deram and Warden of the Andu, Omak Deram died on 19-8 853 TT. Yokadar succeeded his father as Warden of the Andu immediately and as Leader of the Deram three days later.

Living King Odakot Perat died on 27-5 789 TT triggering the 16th Living Election. The election concluded on 9-6 789 TT with Yokadar being elected Living King.
