The Sarkist State was a country in the Eastern Ocean.
History
On 7-8 18 PC Sarkay Obat, founder of Sarkism announced the creation of the Sarkist State, located on the Eastern Ocean island where his follower, Ratok Omiph had been stranded since 4-8 17 PC. He made the pre-existing Sarkist Assembly the government of the state and named the island Paradise.
The 1st Fort Garikoph Agreement was signed between the Kingdom of Akaria and the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar on 17-3 20 PC. The treaty defined the territory of Akaria and included in that definition the Sarkist-controled Paradise Island. Artak's 6th Dictate placed the Paradise Island in the Perat Kadrike, despite not controlling it.
The Perat Navy, landed forces on Paradise Island on 24-4 21 PC, with the intent of capturing the Sarkists living there. The island was fully captured on 26-4 with founder of Sarkism, Sarkay Obat dead and the Sarkist State disestablished.
Government
The Sarkist State was led by the Sarkist Assembly, composed of 30 members appointed by Sarkay Obat on 12-5 16 PC. Each member would choose someone to be their successor in the event of their death or retirement.
Geography
The Sarkist State consisted of Paradise Island, which is flat and grassy.
