The Attu Thalassology Conference is an annual scientific conference on thalassology, the study of the sea, the Grand Calming, and the perpetual storm. It was established in 36 PC after a meeting in between four professors from Grand Weer University, two professors from the University of Canebrija, and one professor from Drakon University. Initially, the conference rotated between the three universities each year, with the first being held at the Grand Weer University. Over time, the conference became larger and more universities got involved. As of 82 PC, the conference consists of 48 different universities from 18 different countries.
