This is where she met Yyme Braia, who took a liking to her style of drastic change in a short period. Eventually, she was appointed mayor of Balmore-Ut. Hia has the highest approval rating of any mayor in the city's history, which has historically been very anti-whoever the mayor is.
On 28-3 10 PC, the ATFS Arakar of the Akarian Trade Fleet was destroyed by the Sorewa Liberation Uprising (SLU), plunging Kelelemi into a state of chaos. A day later Arkara-affiliated protestors took to the streets of Ablesken demanding an explanation for the killing of Kamakta Arkara. At the same time the CNN Federal Court put their ongoing corruption investigation and trials on hold to allow the Council of Directors of the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CODCNN) to hold an emergency meeting relating to the report. Harakar ordered the Akarian Navy back to Akaria and ordered the full mobilisation of the Living Army. On 15-3 Hia El ordered the mobilization of the Utlian National Army and recalled Utlian ships of the Utlian Aquatic Forces into port.
Hia El, Mal Ignis, Losfen Merse, Ire Liamia, and Areen Leshen met with Harakar and the rest of the Akarian leadership on 8-6 18 PC at Fort Garikoph to discuss the ongoing tension with the CNN. At the meeting it was agreed that the Eastern Bloc would move against the CNN until they attacked first.
