The Ossbosche of Dire is the leader of the Osslette of Dire and a member of Ossbosche Assembly. They are elected by the udenbosches of Dire and serve for life or until their resignation.
History of the position
The Ossbosche of Dire was created on 2-2 23 PC alongside the Osslette of Dire via Artak's 9th Dictate. The first Ossbosche of Dire was appointed by Living King Artak Arkara.
Powers
The Ossbosche of Dire is responsible for interpreting the Bakoro, living dictates, and other Mirroite holy texts in Dire. They are also technically responsible for enforcing living law within Dire, but this is prohibited under Utlian Law.
