The High Director of the Akarian Scouting Force is the head of the Akarian Scouting Force (ASF). This individual is appointed by the Living King and reports only to him.
History
The position of High Director was established on 18-2 1 PC by Harakar's 2nd Dictate along with the Akarian Scouting Force (ASF) itself. Targhon Skrake, a well-known opponent of the Arkara and supporter of the Oken was chosen to serve as the first High Director.
Artak's 12th Dictate was issued on 2-10 23 PC, which granted the High Director of the Akarian Scouting Force the right to sign treaties on behalf of the Living King.
Powers
The High Director of the Akarian Scouting Force can manage the ships of the ASF how he sees fit and has the power to name any geographical items discovered by the ASF.
Since 2-10 23 PC the High Director of the Akarian Scouting Force has had the power to sign treaties on behalf of the Living King.
