Events

  • 1-1 The Royal Palace of Niueyjar sends 1/3 (decided by random chance) of the archipelago a commemorative churg plushy wearing a small party hat to celebrate the new years
  • 66pc fiscal report shows the Ronatana economy continues to grow at an unprecidented rate
  • Amore Nascosto publishes their second novel, entitled The High Priests: A Story of Passionate Yet Forbidden Love That Endures Even Through Great Hardships, and Despite the Protests of Many From Ishiq to Ywl. The book follows a homosexual romance between a T'vaqi High Priest and a Deysachni High Priest. While cheaply produced, generally in poor taste, and considered even worse than My Blue Prince by critics, the book proves a massive sales success nationwide. The book becomes “ironically” popular among the nation’s upper-class youth, and some pretentious art critics praise Amore Nascosto’s work as self-aware deconstructions of the classic novel.
    • Modhes critics find the sex stuff and poor writing inoffencive, but take serious issue with the factual inaccuracy of the details of church hirarchy and standards.
  • Blight Eye Strike, The debut single off Four Eyed Horse's second album, A Bunch Of People Killing Eachother, releases, initially expected to do just well enough to break even on time in the studio, the song actually debuts to a stronger reception than the band had seen ever prior. Oddly, in the coming days, it continues to gain, and gain, and by the end of the month it will be on the national charts.
  • A radiovized debate between the candidates ahead of the La Rossan elections sees the incumbent Dux make a militant remark. On economic questions, Dux Marone positions himself as a "radical moderate."
    • On behalf of the Laborist movement Tiya Kena comments on Marone's latest statements: "You are asking for tired laborers to trot at the speed of a train, you can take your competitiveness and—" the rest of his statement is kept private at this time.
    • Octavia says she agrees, La Rossa and Kalam both deserve better "They deserve better, luckily for them an investment in the Ronatanan economic land grant program can help!"
  • TLP, Yotumic Republic, and Hongtongula officially begin negotiations talks. It is expected they will come to a number of “highly calculated” decisions over the next few years regarding future plans for all parties.
  • Tiya Kena throws his support to Tritone for Dux.
  • Former Advisor Feliciano Buonestrotti drops out of the race weeks before the election. In an unprecedented move, Mare gives its support to Dux Marone against Advisor Tritone.
  • Modhes Temple begins plans for land invasion of T'vaqi
  • Gmr. Q'so scraps 40th draft for the perfect naval warfare plan, starts anew once again.
  • 30-12 Olhaltz Veintin the III and his wife Ohaltess Wintelima of Wintenzerg-Vordelhalt have visited and toured La Rossa visiting public and historical centers and other centers as show for the continued relations of Walstanland and La Rossa.
    • An independent investigation reveals a portion of T'vaqi weaponry matches foreign designs. The findings allege that T'vaqi Coastal Patrol has seen a significant portion of their weaponry imported from the Empire of Wälstanland, although it is not yet known through what means. A covert arms campaign is possibly suspected. The Walstan Royal Family is seen leaving the island early after their visit.
