Kakay Army

From Attu Project

The Kakay Army is the subnational army of the Kakay.

History

Establishment

The Kakay Army was established on 22-4 1197 TT via Matart's 135th Dictate which declared that each Kadrike was to maintain a single unified army headed by a high director. The Kakay Army was created by merging the Kakay's previous assortment of armed forces into one.

Purification of Able

On 25-8 564 TT Living King, Gonchidor Ikane was killed by Bolakh Deram. The Deram refused to hand over Bolakh to be tried prompting the armies of the Arkara, Dakon, Ikane, Skrake and Kakay to invade the Deram Kadrike on 4-12 564 TT. Whilst there the armies began massacring members of the Deram and people affiliated with the Deram in what is now known as the Purification of Able.

Akarian Civil War

On 24-5 16 PC the Kakay Army joined the Arkara Army in their invasion of the Deram and Mikare Kardrikes. The Kakay and Arkara Armies, reached Mida on 17-9 16 PC and began to bombard the city. The Deram and Mikare Armies began to withdraw from Mida towards Dokraim on 3-10 17 PC, allowing the Arkara and Kakay Armies to capture the city. They continued their advance to Dokraim soon after.

On 19-1 18 PC, several hundred explosives planted by the Deram went off in the mountains above the valley that the Arkara and Kakay Armies were traveling through. The subsequent mountain collapse killed around a third of the Arkara and Kakay armies and caused their formations to disintigrate into chaos whilst the Deram and Mikare began their counter-advance. The Deram and mIkare then began their counter advance, recapturing Mida on 10-11 18 PC.

The Bokok Army entered the Arkara Kadrike on 23-4 19 PC starting the Battle of Able. Omarok Bokok, Leader of the Bokok said of the incursion "The Arkara are threatening the very survival of Akaria". The Kakay Army, most of which was already in the Arkara Kadrike, joined in fighting the Bokok. On 17-12 The Weer Chronicle reported that Harakar Oken had returned to Moss Vale following his year long vacation at an undisclosed location. Shortly after the report the Arkara and Kakay abandoned the Battle of Able in favour of marching on Moss Vale whilst the Arkara's other allies did the same. The armies of the Bokok, Oken, Sartak and Skrake engaged the armies of the Arkara, Perat, Banokan and Kakay in the Banokan Kadrike on 18-12. On 28-12 when the Arkara-led forces in the Bankokan Kadrike disintegrated into chaos and Harakar's allies began moving towards Agrada. Harakar's victory, however, was short-lived as Harakar died the next day ending the civil war.
