The Sartak Army is the subnational army of the Sartak.
History
Establishment
The Sartak Army was established on 22-4 1197 TT via Matart's 135th Dictate which declared that each Kadrike was to maintain a single unified army headed by a high director. The Sartak Army was created by merging the Sartak's previous assortment of armed forces into one.
Oken-Sartak War
The Oken and the Sartak had been informal rivals since the election of Johnakar Oken was elected Leader of the Oken on 24-10 29 TT due to an agreement made in 50 TT that stipulated that a son of Huloi Sartak and Kazant Oken would lead the Oken after Kazant's death. On 29-3 18 PC, amid multiple crises facing the Oken, Leader of the Sartak, Hochor Sartak ordered his forces into the Oken Kadrike to enact revenge starting the Oken-Sartak War.
The Sartak and Oken armies engaged each other at the Battle of Oksken on 4-4. The battle concluded on 23-7 when the Sartak Army disintigrated allowing the Oken Army to advance into the Sartak Kadrike. The Oken Army was later joined by the Skrake Army and the two armies began surrounding the Sartak capital, Sarstai. The two armies assaulted the city on 30-10 and found it undefended. The war ended the next day when the Oken Army captured Hochor Sartak.
Akarian Civil War
Hochor was imprisoned in Saeskar following the Oken Sartak War. On 5-5 19 PC, Hochor Sartak was forced to resign as Leader of the Sartak in favour of the pro-Oken Bantoek Sartak. Leader of the Banokan, Kobartan Banokan took offenise at what he saw as the Oken vying for power and ordered the Banokan Army to mobilise in two parts, one to be sent north to attack to aid the Arkara and attack the Bokok in the ongoing Battle of Able and one to be sent south to attack the Oken. Bantoek Sartak ordered the Sartak Army to fight the Banokan Army starting the Battle of Okanaria and were soon joined by the Oken Army. During the battle the Oken and Sartak managed to push the Banokan Army into the Banokan Kadrike.
On 17-12 The Weer Chronicle reported that Harakar Oken had returned to Moss Vale following his year long vacation at an undisclosed location. Shortly after the report the Arkara and their allies began moving their forces in the direction of Moss Vale, save for the Banokan Army which abandoned their battle with the Oken and Sartak in favour of joining with the Arkara Army. In response the Oken Army and the Sartak Army began moving northwards in pursuit as Harakar's other armies began performing similar actions. The armies of the Bokok, Oken, Sartak and Skrake engaged the armies of the Arkara, Perat, Banokan and Kakay in the Banokan Kadrike on 18-12. The battle was won on 28-12 when the Arkara-led forces in the Bankokan Kadrike disintegrated into chaos and Harakar's allies began moving towards Agrada. The victory, however, was short-lived as Harakar died the next day ending the civil war.
