Kguncu'i Achofza (born Q'nto Aqopsa) is a Modhes Mahant and former member of the Modhesian Army. In 81 PC, he became the first T'vaqi individual to rise to Mahant status in the priestly hierarchy.
Early life
Q'nto Aqopsa was born to a mining family in T'rith in 35 PC. Growing up, little emphasis was placed on his education; he was instead trained in the family business of whittling. He received a 13 on the Cognitive Capacity Scale and enlisted as a copper miner.
Conversion and terrorism
In 54 PC, at the age of 19, a disgruntled Aqopsa joined the Modhesian Army after being denied compensation for an injury necessitating the amputation of his right ankle and foot. He whittled himself a wooden stump to walk on in order to maintain his balance. Among members of the Modhesian Army, Aqopsa was one of the most devout, and frequently volunteered for the group's acts of terrorism in the name of the Modhes faith.
Aqopsa remained an active member throughout the Tricade War, and was notably a co-conspirator in the death of Arqo Toq. By this point he had gained respect as one of the group's strongest and wisest leaders, and was chosen to accompany Modhes Millitaria in their Siege of Mholos. In 69 PC, after the war ended and legal recognition was granted to Modhes in T'vaqi, Aqopsa chose to move to the Shabdrungate of Viqho.
Priestly schooling and missionary efforts
Beginning in 70 PC, Aqopsa began studying under Anwu Ptandr. Five years after beginning his schooling, he was granted the title of Chaplain.
In 81 PC, he received the title of Mahant, becoming the first T'vaqi-born individual to do so. Upon receiving the promotion, he earned his Saintly Name of Kguncu'i Achofza, after the Modhes Saint of astronomy Kguncu Pflientur Ashwaolys. He then left for N'isi in a missionary effort, where he would spearhead the creation of N'isi Temple. The following year, he returned to Viqho, leaving local T'vaqi Modhes leader Lavrohod L'qash in charge of N'isi Temple.
