Khan of a Skinless Legion is a title within the modern Qoeul-bo Hrnad, replacing the previous title of Knight. The name derives from Khan [xan], the Idrstrasi word for the captain of a ship, and the Skinless Legions, the nickname for the Tun'ilhameng gangs who merged into the Hrnad. Despite the name, the Khan title has little to do with the Tun'ilhameng, other than that the leaders of the old gangs were among the first to have it.
History
When the Qoeul-bo Hrnad left Deysachin and began absorbing parts of the Internatonal Black Market, the leaders of the pre-existing criminal organizations were grandfathered in as mid level leaders, below the Imam and his close circle but above the low level soldiers. There was not initially a title for these individuals, but Khan became commonplace, as it is what Uc Praani, the first Khan, referred to them as. The Skinless Legion part came due to high number of Tun'ilhameng Khans, as the Qoeul-bo Hrnad was at this time opperating in the Nongban Sea.
In time, the old guard of Knights slowly died out, and the title of Khan replaced them, refering not just to the heads of autonomous cells of the Hrnad, but also to any high-ranking Hrnadis.

Little is known of most Khans other than their names, and it is suspected that the known names are only a portion of the whole.
