Komur Feyak

From Attu Project

The Komur Feyak was established on 22-3 1515 TT during the Marauder Crisis.

History

Prior to 1515 TT Komur Lakar had been an officer in the Living Army.

On 1-1 1515 TT Living King Saymok Deram defunded the Living Army on 1-1 1515 TT to pay for the creation of swamp leaf bogs across the Karin Plain in an attempt to resolve the ongoing food shortage caused by the Withering. Many Living Army officers were unhappy with this loss of payment and took portions of the army and began marauding about the Karin Plain starting the Marauder Crisis. One of these officiers, Komur Feyak, split off from the Army on 22-3 1515 TT creating the Komur Feyak.

The Lakar, under the leadership of Komur's third cousin Balakar Lakar began funding the Komur Feyak on 14-10 1514 TT to capitalise on the Marauder Crisis. In exchange, the Komur Feyak protected the Lakar from other Feyaks.

Komur retired as Leader of the Komur Feyak on 24-12 1474 TT and was replaced by Temur Bokok who did not beleive he held the same obligations to the Lakar that Komur had held. The Komur Feyak arrived in the outskirts of Lasken on 1-5 1473 TT and were let into the city on the advice of the Weer Advisor to the Lakar, Goranteer Alandoro. Once in the city they overthrew the Leader of the Lakar, Okal Lakar and replaced him with Komur's son Bekar. After the takeover the Weer Nation began providing the Komur Feyak with supplies. Temur also allowed the Weer Nation to provide him with his own advisor, Shanalee Haloro.

On 16-5 of the same year, the Komur Feyak seized Bar. On 26-5 1473, before an invasion of the Garvak could be carried out Leader of the Garvak Matok Garvak pledged his allegiance to the Komur Feyok and sent a large portion of his army to join them. On 28-9, 1471 TT Temur's forces including the Lakar's army advanced into the Deram lands and reached the Tumak Ordok on 7-10 1471 TT.

By 1473 TT the current Living King, Bark Dar, had little to no influence throughout Akaria, though the post still held religious significance. During this year, Temur set out to establish himself as Living King, on Shanalee's suggestion. He began by marrying a granddaughter of Living King so he would have a reason to challenge him to a duel under the right of blood. Next, he rounded up the ossbosches of the Lakar, Dar and Garvak who would be able to name him Living King. On 28-9, 1471 TT his forces advanced into the Deram lands and reached the Tumak Ordok on 7-10 1471 TT. Temur confronted Living King Bark Dar in the Tumak Ordok and challenged him for his leadership of the Dar under the right of blood. Temur easily defeated and killed the elderly Dar and declared himself Leader of the Dar as Temur Bokok and Dar. Shortly after the three ossbosches with him declared him Living King.

Temur intended to rule Akaria in the same manner that the Living Kings before Bark had established a perikat containing the Bokok, Lakar and Perat and began taxing them to fund the Living Army. On 17-4 1468 TT, Temur Bokok and Dar issued his 1st Dictate merging the Komur Feyak into the Living Army. He then began a campaign against the remaining Feyaks known as the Temur's March.
