From Attu Project

The Garvak are a Kadrike of Akaria.

History

Joining the Akarinian Confederation.

The Garvak joined the Akarinian Confederation on 28-1 1629 TT.

Marauder Crisis

When Temur Bokok became Leader of the Komur Feyak on 24-12 1474 TT By 1474 TT the lands of the Garvak were under the Feyak's loose control. Shortly after assuming leadership of the Feyak, Goghon Perat, one of Temur's advisors recommended they secure their grip on the lands they controlled. They took control of the Lakar's capital on 1-5 1473 TT and the Dar's on 16-5. On 26-5 1473, before an invasion of the Garvak could be carried out Matok Garvak, Leader of the Garvak pledged his allegiance to the Komur Feyok and sent a large portion of his army to join them. On 28-9, 1471 TT Temur's forces including portions of the Garvak's army advanced into the Deram lands reaching the Tumak Ordok on 7-10 1471 TT. Temur confronted Living King Bark Dar in the Tumak Ordok and challenged him for his leadership of the Dar under the right of blood. Temur easily defeated and killed the elderly Dar and declared himself Leader of the Dar as Temur Bokok and Dar. Shortly after the three ossbosches with him declared him Living King. After the takeover, the Garvak joined the newly created 1st Bar Perikat.

1st Bar Perikat

The 1st Bar Perikat ended on 15-1 1419 TT when Dakarkon Deram declared himself Living King.

2nd Durantum Perikat

Dakarkon Deram recruited the Garvak into his newly formed 2nd Durantum Perikat, along with the Mikare and Banokan.

Shinkor Garvak became Living King on 17-6 1268 TT. On 6-7 1251 TT the Andu Kur, amid a recession, put a large number of restrictions on trade with the Akarinian Confederation. Four days later Shinkor issued his 12th Dictate barring any trade whatsoever with the Andu Kur. Soon after the Living Press began demonising the Andu Kur, citing their prior conflicts with the Akarinian Confederation and the Karinians. Shinkor's 14th Dictate, issued on 11-4 1248 TT, ordered the construction of a great defensive wall on the border with the Andu Kur. Shinkor also deployed the Living Army to support Matart Kakay's forces in Moyot's War which ended in 1337 TT with a Kakay victory.

The 2nd Durantum Perikat ended during the reign of Matart Kakay (1231–1182 TT) and was replaced by the 1st Tostai Perikat.

5th Durantum Perikat

During the reign of Living King Khurel Kakay, the former members of the 4th Durantum Perikat –the Bokok, Deram and Perat–created a new alliance between themselves and the Dar, Garvak and Lakar. Khurel's death on 15-2 602 TT triggered the 21st Living Election where, on 18-3 Arikarin Deram was elected Living King, establishing the 5th Durantum Perikat.

At the start of the Able War on 29-10 594 TT the Garvak supported the Deram in their war against the Anti-Durantum League, but were unenthused about fighting a war they thought could have been avoided. On 1-7 593 TT Arikarin's 481st Dictate was issued ordering all Kadrike armies to become subservient to the Living Army. The Dictate angered the Garvak and Arikarin's other allies and gave them an excuse to defect to the League doing so as a group on 5-7. The League breached the Tumak Ordok on 26-2 591 TT. During the battle for the Ordok, Arikarin was killed with his remaining forces surrendering soon after.

Makaro Arkara's election as Living King on 28-4 591 TT ended the 5th Durantum Perikat.
